“Art is a reflection of God’s creativity, an evidence that we are made in the image of God.”

~Francis Schaeffer

About the Conservatory

With a clear understanding of what art, music, and performance are in light of who God is, the Mission of ICCA is to equip, train, and inspire the next generation by nurturing a love of the arts that emulates truth, beauty, and goodness.

ICCA offers arts classes for students, Pre-K through high school graduation, with an emphasis on glorifying God through excellence. We encourage students to delight in their creator through music, dance, and the visual arts.

ICCA classes are developed to build upon skills. It is an incremental approach to teaching the arts. Each class is created to meet particular objectives that will set a strong foundation for the higher level classes. This does not mean a student can not join a class without taking the earlier classes. Students can jump in at any level and benefit from the teaching. Children who participate in ICCA’s early elementary music program gain a strong foundation in aural skills and in-tune singing, preparing them for future musical studies in upper elementary ensembles such as strings, band, or choir

UPCOMING EVENTS & NEWS

CONGRATULATIONS!

Some of our talented orchestra students were nominated to participate in the 2026 Dordt University Honor Orchestra weekend. The program is an annual, intensive event in Iowa bringing together over 200 student musicians from across the U.S. and Canada.

Out of the three scholarships awarded this year, two of them went to ICCA students. A testament to their hard work and dedication to their instruments. We are pleased that these students represented ICCA this year!

The first and most famous story of The Chronicles of Narnia has been adapted into a musical presentation of this unique, enchanted world, filled with creatures and spirits of myth and fable, both good and evil. The principal inhabitants, however, are the intelligent talking animals ruled by the majestic King Aslan, the great lion of Narnia. Entering Narnia at a moment of high adventure are some children—plucked from our world in unexpected ways to help Narnia and to learn lessons of courage, unselfishness, and wisdom.
